- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have been using this company for many years but recently got charged heavy cancellation fees because I forgot to cancel my "Continuous Payment Authority" & an old policy was renewed automatically. When I found out & stopped paying the direct debit they started to pile on more punitive charges. I do not doubt that Alexander McNicoll lawyers made sure that all the relevant weasel clauses are in any agreement & that they followed their procedures & that I should have read the small print however I somehow cheated. A very unpleasant experience indeed. Needles to say, all my insurance will now be purchased online where I can get this type of treatment free of charge.by David BillJanuary 13, 2017
